As part of my Entertainment Science view of the world, I'm fascinated by the factual places where the stuff our dreams (and inspirations) are made of has been manufactured. Often those places turn out to be magical. But they can also be quite revealing—about the artists who transformed them for the cinema, and about how the passing of time has been shaping the 'real world' they were adapted from. The real Europe, I should say—because that’s what I, as a dedicated European, focus on with this project.
